The Guild

The Grey Order started as a group of real life friends who loved WoW, and experiencing the game together. We've raided in Vanilla WoW and Burning Crusade, played in hardcore guilds and leveled millions of alts, and what we found over weeks and months in the game was that we enjoyed the company of good friends more than the rewards of 40 man raids. With the release of Wrath of the Lich King, we discovered that we could experience end-game content by running 10 man raids with our core group, and a few PUG's.

As we began to run Vault of Archavon and Naxxramas, we found ourselves grouping with some incredible people. People who, like us, were tired of "the grind" and wanted to play in a casual, friendly guild that put a premium on having fun together.

Not that we don't strive to succeed. We consider ourselves a casual guild with a progression oriented core group of raiders. But the pressure to excel comes from each of our raiders, not from an overbearing raid leader or an oppressive set of unilateral standards.

We demand more of ourselves than we do of others, we take each failure personally and we strive to be the absolute best at what we do. Because of this mindset, we're able to tear through dungeons, we're able to learn and adapt to new strategies quickly, and we're able to have fun while we do it.
